Brand comparison
How does UNIWATER compare?
We don't compete on generic product specs. The key difference is in our process — water quality assessment, site survey, and system sizing. This comparison explains why that matters.
All comparisons are based on publicly observable market practices and approach. Claims are framed around process and methodology — not unverifiable product specifications. This comparison is provided for educational purposes.

Product-based sales through dealer networks
Site Assessment
Physical site survey before recommendation
Site conditions significantly affect system sizing and installation approach
Site survey conducted before any recommendation or quotation to understand plumbing, space, and usage
Not standard for softener / filtration range
Water Analysis
Water quality assessment before recommendation
Water test or assessment integral to recommendation process — hardness, iron, TDS, pH evaluated
Available as paid service in some regions
Product Scope
Whole-house water treatment planning
Designs whole-house solutions considering all points of use, plumbing, and water quality parameters
Point-of-use and select whole-home products available

Separate products; combination planning not standard
Remote Access
Digital pre-qualification and remote survey option
Remote site survey available — customers can share home details, photos, and requirements digitally before a physical visit

Service schedule communicated at installation; AMC and reminder support available
AMC available through dealer network
Customisation
System sized for actual water conditions and usage
Incorrect sizing leads to poor performance, premature media exhaustion, or unnecessary cost
System capacity, media, and configuration matched to measured/assessed water quality and household volume
Standard product SKUs

Why process matters more than product
Most water treatment companies in India sell you a product from their standard catalogue. You describe your problem, they recommend a SKU, and it's installed. If the sizing is wrong, or if you have iron in addition to hardness (a very common combination), the system underperforms or the softener resin gets damaged.
UNIWATER's approach starts differently: we assess your water quality first (iron level, hardness, TDS, pH), survey your home (installation space, plumbing layout, number of bathrooms, daily usage), and only then recommend a specific system — sized and configured for your actual situation.
This isn't just good service. It's the only way to get the system right the first time — without over-spending, without under-performing, and without the wrong sequence causing downstream problems.
