The process

How UNIWATER works

From first symptom to installed system — a structured, survey-led process that eliminates guesswork and ensures the right outcome.

STEP 015 minutes online

Check Your Water

Start by using our free Water Problem Checker. Answer questions about your water symptoms, home type, and water source. This helps our team understand your situation before the first call.

The checker uses symptom-based logic to identify likely issues — iron, hardness, chlorine, sediment. It's not a diagnosis, but it's a useful starting point that saves time for both you and our team.

STEP 021–3 business days

Book a Water Test

We arrange for a water sample to be collected from your home. Key parameters are assessed: Total Hardness (TH), Iron (Fe), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, turbidity, and in some cases bacterial indicators.

This step is essential. Without water quality data, any recommendation is a guess. UNIWATER will not recommend a system without at least a basic water quality assessment.

STEP 035–8 minutes digital

Remote Site Survey

Fill in our digital site survey with your home type, floors, bathrooms, installation area, plumbing condition, and water setup. Upload photos of the pump room, terrace, or utility area.

This digital qualification reduces unnecessary physical visits and allows us to prepare a preliminary recommendation before scheduling a field visit — saving time for everyone.

STEP 0424–48 hour response

Expert Recommendation

With water quality data and site survey details, our technical team recommends the right system — specific product type, media, size, and configuration for your home.

We also explain what we're recommending and why. If you have both iron and hardness (common with borewell water), we recommend the correct treatment sequence — iron removal must precede softening.

STEP 05Transparent pricing

Quotation

You receive a clear, itemised quotation covering the system, materials, installation, and any site-specific requirements. No hidden costs or vague line items.

We're happy to walk through the quotation on a call and answer any questions before you commit. There's no pressure — the decision is yours.

STEP 06Professional team

Installation

Our trained installation team carries out the work at a scheduled time. Systems are tested after installation. You receive full operational guidance on use and maintenance.

Installation typically takes 2–4 hours for residential properties. Larger or more complex installations may take longer. The installation area is cleaned up before our team leaves.

STEP 07Post-install care

Ongoing Support

After installation, UNIWATER provides a service schedule and periodic reminders for media/cartridge replacement. AMC plans are available for hands-free maintenance.

We don't disappear after installation. Our team is reachable for queries, and our AMC plans ensure your system continues to perform year-round.
